Outlined below is a brief overview of our construction process. Of course, every project is different and this process will be refined to suit each client’s personal needs.
step 1: consultation
Meet the builder and visit home site
Discuss construction goals and budget
Provide client references and lender recommendations
step 2: design agreement
Enter into a Design Agreement (deposit required)
Complete site survey with topography
Step 3: plan development
Begin development of floor plan
Preliminary design selection meeting with one of our designers
Present scope of work and construction estimate
step 4: contract
Enter into a Residential Construction Contract
Finalize floor plan
Begin development of elevations
step 5: selections
Finalize design specifications and allowance selections with one of our designers
Complete construction plans
step 6: approval
Submit construction plans and other required documentation for HOA and lender approval
Close construction loan
step 7: construction
Engineer foundation and septic system
Begin construction
Milestone walk-throughs and inspections
step 8: Completion
